Hi, I’m Jesse and I’m Sam. And this is our story:

We both love creative ideas and problem solving. And of course, we both love our adorable cat, Bandit. He’s completely unique just like every cat; he’s got big bright eyes, an insatiable curiosity, and a never-ending love for high places.

But that was the problem. We knew from our own reading that Bandit needed an elevated space where he could interact with us, but still climb and explore in a vertical domain where cats naturally feel safe and in control. Our living space just didn’t have what he needed. So, like so many kitties, he’d either hide or try to get somewhere high. He even got on top our refrigerator! His spaces weren’t the same as our spaces. And we just wanted to be together more with our cat!

So we tried everything we could buy--but they never worked! The cat towers: they’re usually made of cheap carpeting and cardboard; too ugly or dull to display anywhere. And the fancy “cat furniture” and climbing walls were too one dimensional. Bandit never felt natural in these fixed-space accessories that made him to fit, sit and that’s it. 

Bandit wanted to live vertically. We lived horizontally…

And that’s when we decided to create our own solution and we set to work. It helped that Jesse is already a successful inventor and Sam is a professional designer. And after two years of trial and error—we dreamt up a product that wasn’t like anything else we’d ever found! It wasn’t a cat tower, or a shelf, or a piece of cat furniture. It was something more! An integration of the human domain and feline one. Our horizontal world meeting their vertical world like nothing before! We named it Purrch. Because that’s what Bandit and every one of his friends did, the minute they saw it! And every cat wishes they had one!
